David - 19 months old!

In the last month, I feel like David has grown up a lot!  He is becoming much more obedient and really is seeming to understand the concept!  He is exploding verbally which has been fun to experience!  He is becoming more familiar with colors and shapes and even some of his ABC's, recognizing them when he sees them.  He loves kissing "baby" (mommy's belly) and I can't wait to see him be a big brother!  Only 4 more months now!

We are so grateful to God for another little blessing boy to add to our family! :)  

David will LOVE having a brother close in age to grow up with!

We couldn't be happier!  Please keep me (Katie) in your prayers as we travel from May-July, getting home just one month before the due date.  Pray for health for me and our growing little man!

End of Spring Travels

Since the last travel update, we have wrapped up our Spring Tour, coming full circle from the east coast (NC and GA) back to the midwest (with meetings in OH, IL and then back to home!).  We covered many miles, met many people, sang/preached in many churches and have had MANY fun adventures!  Very thankful to God for the safety and the way He's blessed this Spring Tour!  Now we're looking forward to enjoying a couple fun weeks at home before heading out for the end of spring/summer tour.

Had a wonderful Sunday with Pastor Tim Rabon and Beacon Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.

 On Sunday morning, March 30, we were at Union Hill Baptist Church in western GA.

 Sunday evening, we were with Calvary Baptist in Loganville, GA.

 We had a special guest come with us that night!! :)  Our niece, Emily!

 Monday-Weds we had a great Revival at the Baptist Church of Between, GA.

 We then left GA for Toledo, OH (that was a loooong day of driving!  Thankfully, David did great!).
On Saturday, April 5, we had a great youth rally at Northwest Baptist Church.

David wanted to help Daddy get the book table set up for church the next day :)

 Then it was on to Elgin, IL (yay, getting closer to home!).  We spent the week staying at the campus of Providence Baptist College.  David loved all the animal decor at the college!! :)

 On Weds. April 9, we were with Foundation Baptist Church in the Elgin area.

After 2 1/2 months and who knows how many miles.....we are heading HOME!

David - 18 months old!

Our little live-wire turned 18 months old on March 20, our 4-year wedding anniversary.  Unfortunately, since we've been so busy finishing up our Spring Travels and getting home and diving into work for the Our Time Youth Conference (which is this week!), I've just now gotten to snap a few pictures of David for his 18-month photo shoot (almost a month late!!).  He is blossoming verbally, is always learning new words, but mostly just jabbers away (with dramatic voice inflection and facial expressions - makes me REALLY wish I knew what he was saying!).  Enjoy these couple photos of our little Davy-bug, who is ALREADY a year and a half old....someone please slow down time!!!!!
